Last night was the first night of our OPEN STUDIO - for $5 you get an 11x14 canvas panel and use of ALL the art supplies including items for mixed-media. I had available "Creative Cliffs" which are visual scripture verses for inspiration, which I suggested be read slowly and prayerfully stopping on any that the Holy Spirit illuminates. Sit with that verse, or word, or phrase and ask God what He's saying to you through that verse...then create from that place. Go where ever He leads.
The video above was shown before we entered our creative project time. BELIEVE in your creative gifts!! What a great evening of sitting at our Father's feet, asking, "What should I draw, Daddy?" with excitement and anticipation in our eyes... and in His.
When we create we must be mindful of His constant presence. Let your art be a response to your worship of Him. This is true worship art.
