Exploring the Significance of Color

Our days are filled with color from the moment we open our eyes in the morning til we open our eyes the next morning. Not sure about you, but I DO dream in color.

Depending on your vision quality, color plays a vital role in your life. Which shirt should you wear with which pants? Should I match my lipstick to my outfit? Feeling the need to re-decorate a room in your house? Food - would you eat a strawberry if it were brown in color? Color matters. Especially to God - you can tell that just by observing this beautiful world He created for us.

March @ The Studio will be a cool month of exploring the significance of color. Each Wednesday night we'll take a look at a different facet of this topic: God's color palette, color and symbolism, basic color theory, mixing colors, Scripture and color, just to name a few (I can't give away all the surprises!)

How do you sign up for March @ The Studio?
  • You must go online to register:  http://www.lwccyork.com/creativearts
  • There is a $10 fee: which covers the cost of materials and art supplies (we have some surprises in there too!)
  • Deadline to register for March @ The Studio is Thursday, March 1st.
BRING your SKETCHBOOK to each night of The Studio.

March @ The Studio is shaping up to be one of my very favorite Studio's in its history. As we planned this month's topic of color - I've learned so much and have come to appreciate all that God has given to us: the way He paints the morning sky differently from the evening sky, for example. I know you will feel the same as we move through the Wednesdays in March.

Please register - again, online. Thanks for being patient with this online registration process. It's really helpful when we must buy expensive art supplies and materials for The Studio.
